My Journey
I wasn’t born confident. Growing up as one of four children, I often felt small, unheard, and unsure of my place. I had average results and low self-esteem — but I refused to stay that way. Those quiet years shaped my lifelong curiosity about the human voice — how it reflects our inner confidence, beliefs, and emotional presence.
Over time, I realised that voice training is not just about sounding better — it’s about feeling aligned within.
Through performing, teaching, and years of self-discovery, I learned that real transformation begins with voice and mindset. In 2003, I founded The Voice Room™ — a safe, transformative space where presence finds its voice.
My Philosophy
Your voice is more than sound — it’s identity, confidence, and connection. True communication happens when your inner voice and outer expression align. This belief inspired my proprietary P.A.C.E.™ + Mindset Framework, which brings together: Projection, Articulation, Confidence, and Expression — all grounded in a growth-focused Mindset.
My approach blends voice science, psychology, and mindfulness to help people communicate with calm, clarity, and authenticity. It’s not about speaking louder — it’s about speaking truthfully.
My Professional Background
I began teaching voice and communication in 1992, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of training professionals, executives, and educators across Asia. I currently serve as an Adjunct Lecturer at Singapore Raffles Music College (SRMC), teaching Pop Vocals Performance, and am a Registered Instructor with the Ministry of Education (MOE), specialising in Enrichment Life Skills and Communication Skills Training.
Over the years, I’ve conducted workshops for MNCs and SMEs, and my work has been featured on Singapore’s News Radio 93.8, YES 933, and The Straits Times Career Guide. My proprietary coaching framework and corporate programs have helped thousands of learners rediscover the connection between voice, confidence, and mindset — in both personal and professional settings.
Recognition
The Voice Room™ (Voice and Speech Skills Training) was recognised by Corporate Vision Magazine as the Best Training Provider in the 2025 Education & Training Awards for its holistic approach to communication and learner well-being.
Qualifications & Credentials

Nurturing Future Generations
In a meaningful act of service, I have pledged my mortal remains to the Department of Anatomy at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Through this contribution, I hope to support the education and training of future medical professionals, continuing the spirit of learning and giving long after my voice is gone.
My Purpose
Beyond titles or credentials, my true mission is to help people find their voice under pressure, speak with confidence under stress, and express with authenticity in every setting.
Because when your voice aligns with your presence — everything changes.
